We’ve all heard this – “the power is in the list.” This is true, you must build a list of contacts and customers to become really successful in Network Marketing. But HOW?
Have you heard this one? “Just make a list of 100 friends and family members.” Or even worse, “you have to buy these ‘guaranteed’ leads to be successful.” “Not successful yet? You didn’t list enough friends. You did not buy enough leads.”
Bet you have. Are any of your friends and family still talking to you? Do they run and hide if they even THINK you are going to talk to them about your business? Been there, done that. It wasn’t much fun. And it does NOT work.
Neither do guaranteed leads. Not too long ago my 12 year-old grandson managed to get himself onto one of those “guaranteed double opt-in” lists. What a scam!
My daughter got hundreds of calls from sincere, well-meaning Network Marketers all trying to “sell” him on their wonderful business opportunity. You can imagine her reaction. Especially after she had worked a night shift and was trying to sleep! I’m afraid she blistered some ears before she figured out what was going on.

I bet you could fill a fleet of ships with all the hard working, unsuspecting folks who were told to make a list of people they know and also convinced that they “Must” buy leads in order to build their home based business.

I’ll bet 99 percent of network marketers have been taught to call their friends and family, and then, when that didn’t work, to buy leads, which also didn’t work.

You know when one looks at the value of something they look with a monetary tag. The most precious things on the face of the earth are free. So looking for value in something you should look into the facts not the cost. Expensive isn’t always worth what you pay for. This system is the most doable and cost effective one I have ever found.

What a great blog!!
We wish we had learned about lists when we first got started in our MLM business. We’ve lost friends and family members would hide when we came around. In one year we paid $11,000 on leads that did not work. Over a 5 year period, we spent $21,000 on leads programs with no successes.
Bob and I won a trip to Dallas to the annual Convention based on our list of “NOs”. Our no list was 2,500 and it was only a partial list. How crazy is that!! Instead of rewarding people for their accomplishments, we were rewarded for our failures. No wonder the company went bankrupt!!
Once we read Success in 10 Steps and started the Mentoring for Free system, our MLM business took a turn and we started to have the success we deserved.
The book and system is FREE!! You owe it to yourself and your family to read the book and use the system so you too can have the successes you deserve!! All it takes is your time.
